Quick and Easy Kale Chips



Having intolerances has its limits sometimes, but i’ve been searching far and wide to tackle those specific little cravings that you need sometimes. Well, to my surprise I found a delightful guilt free satisfaction from none other than kale. Light and healthy it will fulfill your ‘crisps’ craving whenever you need one. Seasoned to your liking and ready in under 15 mins. Beats running to the store to get a bag of chips. Not to mention its far better for you. You don’t even need to be a cooking whiz to get this recipe right, making it that much easier than homemade potato chips. If you can get around the fact that its green it will bring you the crunchy crispy texture you’re craving instantly. Give it a go, I’m already making more!

Time needed: 15 mins
Makes as much as you want to ( or fits into your baking tray)

1-2tbs Olive oil

1. Preheat Oven to 205’C.
2. Wash and dry well your chosen amount of kale. Chop it into small pieces( removing stem if you wish)
3. In a bowl season the way you like ( i chose, olive oil, salt and pepper) and then spread onto a lined baking tray.
4. Place the tray into the oven, and allow to bake for 10-15 minutes. Checking to make sure they haven’t burnt. ( i ended up removing them after 10 minutes so CHECK)

Enjoy with a movie, it will soon become your go to snack for those moment you just need something to munch on!
